Getting There and Parking

Parking

To ensure, hassle free access to the festival site, make sure you Park 'n' Ride or Travel 'n' Ride.  A continuous FREE shuttle service, provided by Ventura will operate from 10.00am from Eastfield Park and Croydon Train Station.

Alternatively, you can try Park 'n' Walk from Eastfield Park to the Festival, only a ten minute stroll.

Accessible Parking is available at Norton Road.  An electric vehicle charging station is located at the Information Tent.

With the Tarralla Creek Bicycle Trail terminating at Town Park Croydon cycling to the festival is definitely an option to be considered.  Maroondah Festival is proud to announce the free bicycle valet parking located in the Fun and Fitness Arena.  In an aim to encourage active and sustainable transport to the festival the first 150 bike riders will receive a free show bag.

Getting There

Car parking at the Maroondah Festival will be limited.  Patrons are encouraged to leave their cars at home and consider one of the many alternative ways to get to the Festival.

Train

Croydon Station located on the Lilydale line is the closest railway station to the Festival.  The Festival is only a short 10 minute walk from the station.  Refer to Map 1 for directions to walk from the station.

Bus

There are plenty of buses that go either directly past the Festival or terminate at the Croydon Station.  Refer to the following table for bus routes with stops within walking distance of the Festival.

Ticketing

Travelling on public transport on a Sunday is very affordable and easy.  All that is required is a Sunday Saver Metcard costing only $3.10.  Sunday Saver Metcard allows unlimited train, tram and bus travel across all zones, all day.  Sunday Saver Metcards are available for purchase from train stations, Metcard outlets and via www.metlinkmelbourne.com.au

Senior card holders, people receiving the disability support pension or carer payments can travel for free on Sunday if they have a Sunday Pass.  A Sunday Pass is available upon application from any Premium Station, Metcard retail outlets or via the internet from www.metlinkmelbourne.com.au
