Maroondah City Council would like to thank all the sponsors of the

2013 Maroondah Festival

With the help from sponsors and all those involved, we successfully staged one of the finest days in the festival’s 24 - year history.

With the rain holding off, 25,000 people were able to enjoy the large amount of free activities the Festival had on offer! Overall we had over 120 local community groups involved with a display in the Century 21 Community Area, stage performances or interactive activities with the feedback for the day has been extremely positive.

The new Denso Cultural Area was a huge hit with cooking demonstrations and cultural performers for the whole family to enjoy. The Eastland Kids Kingdom was ever popular with both parents and kids, who enjoyed free activities and stage and roving entertainment throughout the day. The EastLink Fun and Fitness Arena provided a fantastic array of come and try activities as well as interactive demonstrations, workshops and free kids rides for festival - goers to enjoy.

The entertainment on the Youth stage, Costco Main stage and Denso Cultural stage were outstanding and well received by the constant crowds of people.

We were extremely happy with the success of the Bank of Melbourne Eco Village and felt the display was a wonderful addition to the event providing the local community with interesting and valuable information as well as giveaways and incentives.

Maroondah City Council would like to thank Major Sponsor, Cloverlea Chirnside Park for their outstanding support of the 2013 Maroondah Festival.

Maroondah City Council looks forward to the 2014 Maroondah Festival
