This event has become one of the most well known names on the Melbourne community event calendar.
There is no other community event in Melbourne's East quite like the Maroondah Festival. It's completely free to the public and jammed full of entertainment!
The Festival provides free and low cost activities and attracts over 30,000 people on the day. There are hundreds of free activities for everyone, and a great and varied program throughout the day that's sure to please.

Roll Up Bicycle Valet
This year the Maroondah Festival encourages active and sustainable transport to the Festival by providing fast, fun and free bike parking.
Located in the "Fun and Fitness Arena" on the Fred Geale Oval, the Roll Up Bicycle Valet parking provides a safe, secure and convenient place to park your bike whilst you take in all the Maroondah Festival has to offer.
Cyclists will also have the opportunity to have free bike checks provided by Goldcross Cycles and the first 150 riders will receive a free show bag with magazines, samples, discount vouchers, water bottles plus more, so be sure to get to the Festival early.
